This product is covered by a One-Year In-Home Parts & Labor Warranty. It provides additional coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty, covering both parts and labor for one year from the date of purchase.

Manufacturer's Warranty for Scooters

Golden Technologies has outlined the proper usage and care for your scooter in the owner’s manual. Failure to follow these guidelines will void the warranty on the scooter, its parts, and the batteries provided by Golden Technologies.

Warranty Coverage

The following warranty is applicable to the initial consumer who purchased the product and begins from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden Technologies provider. A warranty registration card must be filed to receive service. The coverage applies to the following models:

• BUZZaround LT: GB107
• BUZZaround XL Series: GB117D, GB117S, GB117H, GB117Z, GB147D, GB147S, GB147H, GB147Z
• BUZZaround Extreme: GB118, GB148
• LiteRider Series: GL109, GL110, GL140, GL111, GL141
• Companion Models: GC240, GC340, GC440
• Avenger: GA541
• Patriot: GR575

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Golden Technologies provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the scooter frame and related components, including:

• Steel Frame
• Frame Welds
• Tiller Frame
• Front Fork
• Seat Post

Note: The Patriot GR575 is warranted for five years.

Two-Year Warranty

Golden Technologies offers a Two-Year Warranty for the following components, covering defects in materials or workmanship:

• Drive Train Components:
  • Transaxle
  • Motor/Brake Assembly (electrical function only)
  • Note: Operating noise increase in the transaxle is expected with normal wear and does not indicate a defect.
• Electronic Assemblies:
  • Electronic Controller
  • Battery Charger
  • Dash Assembly
  • Potentiometer Assembly
  • Wire Harness(es)
  • Note: Heat from the battery charger during use does not constitute a defect.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Golden Technologies offers a One-Year Limited Warranty for:

• Batteries:
  Defects in materials or workmanship for the batteries supplied by Golden Technologies.

• Other Components:

  • Bearings
  • Bushings
  • Seat Swivel Mechanism
  • Rubber Components (excludes tires)
  • Armrests
  • Plastic Components (excludes body)

Standard or optional accessories provided by Golden Technologies are covered for one year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Exclusions

Golden Technologies does not cover the following items due to normal wear and tear:

• Tires and Tubes
• ABS Plastic Shrouds
• Armrest Pads

The following are also excluded from coverage:

• Motor Brushes
• Bulbs/Fuses
• Brake Pads
• Upholstery
• Loss or theft of components (e.g., keys, baskets)
• Damage caused by:
  • Battery fluid spillage or leakage
  • Abuse, misuse, accidents, or negligence
  • Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
  • Commercial or abnormal use
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Exceeding weight capacity
  • Accessories not supplied by Golden Technologies
  • Acts of Nature (e.g., lightning, earthquakes)

Any parts altered or repaired by unauthorized personnel are not covered.

Warranty Service

Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative. Golden Technologies may replace warranted parts with refurbished or new parts at their discretion. All labor, service calls, transportation, and installation costs are the responsibility of the consumer.

Consumers should not return items to Golden Technologies without prior written authorization. Any damages during transport are the consumer’s responsibility.

Additional Warranty Information

There is no other express warranty. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded, and liabilities for consequential damages are also excluded. This warranty gives you specific rights that may vary from state to state.
