Warranty Coverage

The following warranty is applicable to the initial consumer who purchased the product and begins from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden Technologies provider. A warranty registration card must be filed to receive service. The coverage applies to the following models:

Golden Technologies provides a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the scooter frame and related components, including:

Note: The Patriot GR575 is warranted for five years.

Two-Year Warranty

Golden Technologies offers a Two-Year Warranty for the following components, covering defects in materials or workmanship:

  • Drive Train Components:
    • Transaxle
    • Motor/Brake Assembly (electrical function only)
    • Note: Operating noise increase in the transaxle is expected with normal wear and does not indicate a defect.
  • Electronic Assemblies:
    • Electronic Controller
    • Battery Charger

    • Note: Heat from the battery charger during use does not constitute a defect.

One-Year Limited Warranty

  • Upholstery
  • Loss or theft of components (e.g., keys, baskets)
  • Damage caused by:
    • Battery fluid spillage or leakage
    • Abuse, misuse, accidents, or negligence
    • Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
    • Commercial or abnormal use
    • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
    • Exceeding weight capacity
    • Accessories not supplied by Golden Technologies
    • Acts of Nature (e.g., lightning, earthquakes)

Any parts altered or repaired by unauthorized personnel are not covered.

Warranty Service

Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative. Golden Technologies may replace warranted parts with refurbished or new parts at their discretion. All labor, service calls, transportation, and installation costs are the responsibility of the consumer.

Consumers should not return items to Golden Technologies without prior written authorization. Any damages during transport are the consumer’s responsibility.

Additional Warranty Information

There is no other express warranty. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded, and liabilities for consequential damages are also excluded. This warranty gives you specific rights that may vary from state to state.

Shipping Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. After that, please allow 4-5 days for delivery, with most orders arriving within 5-8 business days from the order date.

We ship most items using standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx). Unfortunately, shipping to P.O. Boxes or outside the United States is not available.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it in new condition within 30 days for a refund, if the following requirements are met:

  • Product must be unused.
  • Product must be returned using the original packaging.
  • The product must have all parts, accessories, and paperwork included.

Standard shipping and special delivery options, such as inside delivery fees and White Glove fees, are non-refundable. Returns must be authorized in advance. Please note that returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Some manufacturers may impose return fees ranging from 5%-25%, which we are required to pass on to you. We will evaluate each return individually and strive to minimize these fees whenever possible.

Certain brands have specific return policies, and some items are non-returnable. Non-returnable items include all Journey Health products, Golden Technologies lift chairs, and all Discover My Mobility products, unless the product is defective.

    Return Shipping

    Return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and considering insurance for your package, as we are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping.

    Exchanges
