Golden Technologies provides a warranty for proper usage and care as outlined in the owner’s manual. Failure to follow these guidelines will void the warranty for the scooter, its parts, and the batteries.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Golden Technologies warrants the following structural frame components for the life of the scooter, starting from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden Technologies dealer:

  • Frame Welds
  • Tiller Frame
  • Front Fork
  • Seat Post

Note: The GR575 is warranted for five years.

Two-Year Warranty

Drive Train Components

Golden Technologies will repair or replace (with new or reconditioned components) the following drive train components:

  • Transaxle
  • Motor/Brake Assembly (electrical function only)

Note: An increase in operating noise of the transaxle does not constitute a defect. With normal wear and tear, operating noise is expected to increase.

Electronic Assemblies

The following electronic assemblies are covered under the two-year warranty:

  • Electronic Controller
  • Battery Charger
  • Dash Assembly
  • Potentiometer Assembly
  • Wire Harness(es)

Note: It is normal for the battery charger to heat up while charging batteries. Heat coming from the battery charger does not constitute a defect.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Parts Covered

Golden Technologies will repair or replace the following parts if found to be defective:

  • Bearings
  • Bushings
  • Seat Swivel Mechanism
  • Rubber Components (excluding tires)
  • Armrests
  • Plastic Components (excluding body)

Batteries and Accessories

  • Batteries supplied by Golden Technologies are covered for one year if found defective.
  • Accessories, whether standard or optional, are also covered for one year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Exclusions

The following items are excluded from the warranty as they may require replacement due to normal wear and tear:

  • Tires and Tubes
  • ABS Plastic Shrouds
  • Armrest Pads
  • Motor Brushes
  • Bulbs/Fuses
  • Brake Pads
  • Upholstery

Additional Exclusions

  • Loss or theft of components (e.g., keys, baskets, etc.)
  • Damage caused by:
    • Battery fluid spillage or leakage
    • Abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence
    • Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
    • Commercial use or use beyond normal operation
    • Repairs or modifications made without Golden Technologies’ consent
    • Exceeding the specified weight capacity
    • Use of unauthorized accessories
    • Failure to adhere to product instructions
    • Acts of nature (e.g., lightning strikes, earthquakes)
    • Circumstances beyond Golden Technologies’ control
  • Any parts altered or repaired by unauthorized personnel

Warranty Service

  • Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative.
  • Golden Technologies reserves the right to replace warranted parts with refurbished or new parts.
  • Labor charges, service calls, transportation costs, or any charges associated with installation of warranted parts are the responsibility of the consumer.
  • Warranty covers replacement parts only and excludes freight for replacement parts.

Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded. Liability for consequential damages is also excluded.

Shipping Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. After that, please allow 3-4 business days for delivery, with most orders arriving within 4-7 business days from the order date.

We ship most items using standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx). Unfortunately, shipping to P.O. Boxes or outside the United States is not available.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it in new condition within 30 days for a refund, if the following requirements are met:

  • Product must be unused.
  • Product must be returned using the original packaging.
  • The product must have all parts, accessories, and paperwork included.

Standard shipping and special delivery options, such as inside delivery fees and White Glove fees, are non-refundable. Returns must be authorized in advance. Please note that returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Some manufacturers may impose return fees ranging from 5%-25%, which we are required to pass on to you. We will evaluate each return individually and strive to minimize these fees whenever possible.

Certain brands have specific return policies, and some items are non-returnable. Non-returnable items include all Journey Health products, Golden Technologies lift chairs, and all Discover My Mobility products, unless the product is defective.

    Return Shipping

    Return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and considering insurance for your package, as we are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping.

    Exchanges
