Q1: Can I turn my wheelchair on or off with the remote control?
No. The wheelchair’s power must be turned on manually before the remote control is activated, allowing it to pair with the chair.

Q2: Does my wheelchair arrive fully assembled?
Your wheelchair will arrive almost fully assembled. You'll need to attach the remaining parts.

Q3: Can my wheelchair go on an airplane or cruise?
Yes. The 7.5AH (180WH) lithium-ion battery is approved for most major airlines and cruise lines. Contact your airline or cruise line beforehand to confirm their travel battery regulations.

Q4: Can I operate my wheelchair with the backrest in the reclined position?
Yes, but we do not recommend moving the wheelchair while reclined as this may cause tipping and lead to injury.

Q5: I’ve run out of battery. Can I push my chair?
Yes. The IQ-9000 wheelchair can be used as a manual wheelchair. Turn off the power and disengage both motors by pulling the levers to enable free-wheel mode.

Q6: Does my remote control come paired with my chair?
Yes. The remote is paired with your chair.

Q7: Can I silence the beeping sound my wheelchair makes while reversing?
Yes. Press the (+) key on the controller until you reach top speed, hold it until the amber light appears, then press the horn button. Repeat to restore the beeping sound.

Q8: Does the armrest raise?
Yes. Both armrests raise to ease transfers or allow the chair to be pushed closer to a table.

Q9: How do I charge the battery?
The battery can be charged through the joystick controller or directly on the battery. It takes 6-8 hours to charge fully, less if partially charged. Unplug the charger from the battery and outlet once fully charged.

Q10: Can I install my controller on either side of the wheelchair?
Yes. The controller is set up on the right side but can easily be moved to the left side.

Q11: Does my wheelchair come with a warranty?
Yes. The IQ-9000 wheelchair has a 3-year frame warranty, and 1-year warranty for the motor, battery, and electronic parts.

Yes. The IQ-9000 can easily traverse low grass and compacted dirt.
