Golden Technologies has provided details regarding proper usage and care of power wheelchairs throughout the owner's manual. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will void the warranty of the power wheelchair, its parts, and the supplied batteries.

Warranty Coverage

The following warranty is granted only to the initial consumer who purchased the product from an authorized Golden Technologies provider and commences on the date of purchase. The warranty covers the following power wheelchair models unless otherwise noted:

  • Alante’ Sport GP205
  • Alante’ Sport GP207
  • Compass Sport GP605
  • Compass TRO GP615
  • Compass HD GP620

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Golden Technologies will repair or replace the following structural frame components if found defective by an authorized representative:

  • Steel Frame (5 years for GP162, GP615, and GP620)
  • Frame Welds (5 years for GP162, GP615, and GP620)
  • Seat Post (5 years for GP162, GP615, and GP620)

  • Consumer Responsibility: All labor charges, service calls, transportation costs, and installation fees are the responsibility of the consumer.
  • Damages During Transport: Consumers are responsible for damages incurred while parts are in transit.

Shipping Time

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. After that, please allow 3-4 business days for delivery, with most orders arriving within 4-7 business days from the order date.

We ship most items using standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx). Unfortunately, shipping to P.O. Boxes or outside the United States is not available.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it in new condition within 30 days for a refund, if the following requirements are met:

  • Product must be unused.
  • Product must be returned using the original packaging.
  • The product must have all parts, accessories, and paperwork included.

Standard shipping and special delivery options, such as inside delivery fees and White Glove fees, are non-refundable. Returns must be authorized in advance. Please note that returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Some manufacturers may impose return fees ranging from 5%-25%, which we are required to pass on to you. We will evaluate each return individually and strive to minimize these fees whenever possible.

Certain brands have specific return policies, and some items are non-returnable. Non-returnable items include all Journey Health products, Golden Technologies lift chairs, and all Discover My Mobility products, unless the product is defective.

    Return Shipping

    Return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and considering insurance for your package, as we are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping.
