For thirteen months from the date of purchase, Golden Technologies will repair or replace defective components in the following areas:

Structural Components:

  • Caster Forks
  • Armrests
  • Footrest

Drive Train Components:

  • Motor/Gearbox Assembly
  • Brake Assembly (electrical function only)

Note: Increased operating noise in the motor/gearbox is normal with wear and tear and does not constitute a defect.

Electronic Assemblies:

  • Electronic Controller
  • Battery Charger
  • Wire Harness (excluding boot covers)

Note: It is normal for the battery charger to heat up during use, which is not considered a defect.

Other Components:

Twelve Month Limited Warranty – Batteries

Golden Technologies will replace the batteries supplied if they are found defective within twelve months of the purchase date.

Accessories

Accessories, both standard and optional, are covered for one year from the date of purchase.

Warranty Exclusions:

The following items are not covered under warranty due to normal wear and tear:

  • Tires and Tubes
  • ABS Plastic Shrouds
  • Armrest Pads
  • Motor Brushes
  • Bulbs/Fuses
  • Battery Cases
  • Brake Pads
  • Upholstery

The warranty also excludes:

  • Loss or theft of components
  • Damage caused by:
    • Battery fluid leakage
    • Abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence
    • Improper operation, maintenance, or storage
    • Commercial use or any use beyond normal
    • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
    • Exceeding weight capacity
    • Non-approved accessories
    • Failure to follow product instructions
    • Acts of nature (e.g., lightning strikes, earthquakes)

Warranty Service:

  • Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative.
  • Golden Technologies reserves the right to replace parts with refurbished or new parts at their discretion.
  • Consumers are responsible for all labor, service calls, transportation costs, and any charges related to installing warranted parts.
  • No parts should be returned without prior written authorization.

  • There is no other express warranty.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it in new condition within 30 days for a refund, if the following requirements are met:

  • Product must be unused.
  • Product must be returned using the original packaging.
  • The product must have all parts, accessories, and paperwork included.
