The Zoomer Chair can be used just about anywhere, indoors and outdoors. It can handle a variety of terrains such as grass, carpet, dirt, and more.

In most cases, yes. Make sure your doorway openings are at least 27" wide. For smaller doorways, you'll need to fold the Zoomer Chair to pass through. Most public spaces have doorways that are ADA compliant (minimum 32" wide), so no problem there.

The Zoomer Chair can carry up to 275 lbs.

The Zoomer Chair is available in only one size. For specific dimensions, see the Product Specifications section. The maximum weight limit is 275 lbs.

The Zoomer Chair is joystick-controlled and can be operated with one hand. The joystick can be installed on either side of the chair, making it perfect for users with limited mobility in one arm.

While many people use the Zoomer for different reasons, the Zoomer Chair is a personal electric vehicle. If you are fully restricted to a sitting position, the Zoomer may not be the best choice as you must be able to get in and out of the chair independently.

Warranty

Journey Health & Lifestyle® warrants all our products to be free from defects in materials, workmanship, and assembly. A standard twelve (12) months warranty from the original purchase date applies to the core list of Journey products under normal use in accordance with specifications and warnings. Some limitations, exclusions, restraints, or extensions may apply, including parts, labor, service, and other specific considerations. Specific additional limitations and extensions of warranty, particularly relating to the Journey Health & Lifestyle® line of mobility products, can be found in the Addendum below.

Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from:

  • Accident, negligence, misuse, or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage in shipment
  • Improper operation or failure to follow instructions according to the User Manual
  • Component failure or improper storage
  • Neglect of prescribed maintenance procedures
  • Repair or attempted repair or modifications made by anyone other than Journey Health & Lifestyle®
  • Normal gradual reduction in battery performance due to heavy use
  • Deterioration from external factors such as extremes in temperature or humidity, corrosive atmosphere, or natural events (e.g., lightning, flood)

Addendum
In addition to the previously cited provisions and limitations, other warranty considerations for the line of Journey Health & Lifestyle® mobility products (Zinger, Zoomer, Zoomer Lite, Perfect Walker, So Lite Wheelchair, So Lite Scooter, So Lite Glide, all UPWalkers) include the following extensions and exclusions:

  • The frame, mechanical, and electrical components, including the motor of each mobility product, are warrantied for the same twelve-month period.
  • The originally supplied battery, tires, fabric seat, seat back, and seat cushion are warrantied for a six (6) month period from the original purchase date.

If any component or part is proven defective within the warranty period, the product shall be repaired or replaced at the option of Journey Health & Lifestyle® with new or refurbished components. An installation kit with instructions may be provided for replacement components, but warranty does not include any labor charges incurred in product component installation. The warranty period for repaired or replaced products shall terminate with the original product's warranty period.

Shipping

After placing your order, please allow about 1 to 3 business days to process your order and get it shipped out of the warehouse. After that, please allow another 3 to 4 days on the road. Generally, we tell our customers to expect a delivery within 4 to 7 total days from the day of purchase.

We use standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx) for most items. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, any U.S. Territory, APO/FPO, or any other international address. Please note that orders could arrive in multiple packages.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it in new condition within 30 days for a refund, provided it is unused, returned in the original packaging, and includes all parts, accessories, and paperwork. Standard shipping and special delivery fees are non-refundable.
