Shoprider Mobility Products, Inc. ("distributor") warrants its electric scooters and power chairs ("products") against certain defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, subject to specific conditions and exclusions as outlined below. Please review these terms and conditions, under which the distributor agrees to provide repair services.

Warranty Conditions

  1. Valid for products purchased in the United States from an authorized Shoprider provider.

  2. Applicable only to the original purchaser and not transferable to subsequent purchasers or recipients.

  3. Covers replacement or repair of defective parts only. Labor, installation, and shipping charges are not included.

  4. Warranty replacement parts are covered from the original purchase date of the product.

  5. Drive train warranty coverage includes:

    • Frame: 5 years
    • Electronics: 12 months
    • Motor/Transaxle/Brake: 12 months
    • Batteries: 6 months
  6. Warranty valid only for products purchased from an authorized Shoprider provider.

  7. Warranty applicable only to the original customer and not to subsequent owners.

  8. No other party has the authority to extend or alter this warranty. Distributor is not responsible for unauthorized representations.

  9. Warranty void if product is modified with non-Shoprider parts.

Registration and Warranty Exceptions

  1. Registration card must be signed and returned within 30 days of purchase.

  2. Exceptions to coverage:

    • Transaxle: Increased noise level does not qualify for warranty.
    • Motor: Damage from worn brushes not replaced after heavy use is excluded. Motor brushes are covered for one year.
    • Brake: Brake pads are covered for one year.
    • Maintenance: Annual maintenance must be followed.
  3. Battery and charger coverage is through the battery manufacturer. Battery charger is warranted for one year from purchase.

  4. Controller coverage is through the controller manufacturer. Negligence or liquid damage may void the warranty.

  5. Wear items, such as plastic shrouding, covers, seat upholstery, arm pads, and tires, are not covered.

  6. Transportation and shipping costs are the original purchaser's responsibility.

Legal Terms

  1. Transportation costs and shipping damages are the original purchaser's responsibility.
  2. Any implied warranties are limited by state law.
  3. Claims against distributor are limited to those asserted under this warranty.
  4. Governed by California law; legal proceedings must be in Los Angeles County, California.
  5. No express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  6. Exclusive remedy is repair of defective components; distributor's liability is limited to the amount paid.
  7. Only the president or vice-president of the distributor may modify the warranty in writing.

Shipping

After placing your order, please allow about 1 to 3 business days to process your order and get it shipped out of the warehouse. After that, please allow another 3 to 4 days on the road. Generally, we tell our customers to expect a delivery within 4 to 7 total days from the day of purchase.

We use standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx) for most items. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, any U.S. Territory, APO/FPO, or any other international address. Please note that orders could arrive in multiple packages.

Returns

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it in new condition within 30 days for a refund, provided it is unused, returned in the original packaging, and includes all parts, accessories, and paperwork. Standard shipping and special delivery fees are non-refundable.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@mobilitycreations.com or call (833)-638-6660 with your name, order number, and reason for the return; unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part. Some manufacturers may impose a return fee of 5%-25%, which we must pass on to you; we strive to minimize these fees whenever possible.

Please note, certain brands and items such as all Journey Health products, Golden Technologies lift chairs, Pride Mobility Lift Chairs, and all Discover My Mobility products are non-returnable unless defective.

    Exchanges

    The simplest way to initiate an exchange is to first return the original item(s). Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

    Cancellations

    If you need to cancel an order that has already been shipped, please be aware that return shipping costs will be your responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply.
